In all major Protests of the past the Clergy played a major role. Why is there no clergy at Camp Casey? Where is Al Sharpton or Jessie Jackson or other noted Liberal Clergy. Maybe Jessie jackson and Al Sharpton are staying away for fear of their name causing problems for Cindy but there are others who should be there. This is a mission Christ would be a part of, so why are no Preachers of his word involved in this monumental "crusade"? Have we truly lost Christ as an advocate for Peace?

2. I posted on this a week ago..... |

I emailed my pastor about this......he didn't reply. I am a member of the UCC, where are they? For that matter where are any of the Mainstream Denominations? If you are a member of one, you should start holding the leadership's feet to the fire. More Later.

4. Except for the two mentioned, the clergy is for *. He was appointed |
|
by God, so they can't protest.
Where was the clergy during Vietnam? I don't remember seeing any on the protest side of the fence.

7. Hey, if you remember the 60's you weren't there. |
|
No, I don't remember Mr. King saying anything about Vietnam. I was in high school when he died, and at that time the mess in Vietnam wasn't a big issue. It was during next 10 years that the big protests were happening.

No religion in politics. One side listened. The other did not.

13. Have we truly lost Christ as an advocate for Peace? |
|
no, its just that only charlatans, deceivers, liars and pedaphiles seem to employ 'religion' to defeat his true message.
