Would our nation be in a different place today without the Internet ?
Seems to me most of the opposition to these fascists in the White House originates on the left side of the Internet. Even Democratic officials get much of their info and strategy from the Internet. It is also a major source for raising campaign funds.

Where would Bush and Cheney have our nation today without the Internet? For those that say it couldn't be any worse than it is now, I would remind them, as a lesson of life, that it can always get worse.

1. Do the names "Tass" and "Pravda" ring a bell?
The so called "mainstream media" under the BCE regime is as horrible as they ever were in the USSR. Especially Clear Channel, which was literally founded with Bush money (via business dealings) and FAUX News, which gives PNAC'ers regular airtime.

Without the Internet we would get no truth at all. Whether it's DU, blogs, BBC website, The Guardian, or whatever. Of course there's also Air America and the other liberal radio programs. But would AAR itself exist without the internet? How would the founders have known there was an audience? The whore media once claimed that 70% of America was behind Dipshit's war, and that the same amount actually believed Iraq was involved in 9-11. Sadly, I believe those numbers would have been even higher if not for those of us afraid to speak the truth.

2. Maybe
The advent of the internet made the nazis jump when they realized they would soon be exposed on the www?

An aside thought: In the anti-patriot act, the part making libraries reveal their customers habits... could it be they knew whistleblowers would be making use of library desktops to blow?

Anyway...DU Rules.... and bush drools.
