A naiive question: Why doesn't the party make a fuss about voting ?

I know there's a lot going on right now, but I just got done reading part of the Harper magazine article in the elections forum. A "duh" conclusion is that voting needs to be repaired, which we have all known for years. Are too many Dems tied into Diebold and CSS, etc. ?

1. My guess is that we have massive corruption in the form of a corporate duo

poly. Repukes and dino's and just plain ill-informed and/or powerless.

2. fuss about voting...

Some of us are. We are just so disconected. If you want more info I am selling a DVD on ebay about this very subject. It is a DVD of a Topanga Peace Alliance meeting with Bob Fitrakis and Steve Rosenfeld. 4. An honest voting system is hard to rig.

Large turnouts have the same effect.
Job security trumps the public good, see?

5. voter stuff

All one has to do is put less voting mechines in democratic heavy precents and poof! large turnouts mean nothig. It is well documented now that that is what happend in Ohio.
