Carlyle Group = Right Arm of BushCo Corruption?

Is it just me, or does it seem like everyday we find out more involvement by BushCo in corruption and criminality? The Washington Post has a story about corruption in Illinois by BushCo favorite Carlyle - does it ever end?

2. Okay, remember that drip, drip, drip?

Well, what we're getting is a tsunami. This should be a good thing, but the reason why we are so uncertain of its outcome is because we really don't have confidence that we have enough good guys to handle the problem. Fitzgerald is just one person. Without the proper backing, all of the work he has been doing can be undone.

If we had confidence in the system, these feelings of uncertainty would go away. We need a face to focus on, to support and to believe in. But don't expect the media to help. Their silence is part of the problem.

3. I almost think that the eerie quiet...

...is a sign that something big is about to hit the fan.

Whether it will be something good (a BushCo indictment) or something bad (a MIHOP terrorist attack) is something I'm uncertain about.

But I have noticed that eerie quiet feeling you get while everyone waits around for something big to happen.

5. Carlyle has been involved in the BCE corruption for some time

On the morning of 9-11-01 (after spending the night at the White House - even though his son wasn't there, but Cheney was) George Bush Sr attended a Carlyle Group board meeting with none other than Shafig Bin Laden, Osama's brother. Together they looked out the window and watched the Pentagon burn, while no doubt watching the WTC carnage on TV like the rest of us. Only they were probably drinking a toast to it, and to all the money they were about to make from the tragedy.

8. What I don't understand

Is if Bush Sr. had a ring side seat for the Pentagon attack, how did him and Barbara end up stranded in the Midwest when they grounded all the flights? I remember reading that they took an early flight out of DC that morning?

I know Jim Baker was at the Carlyle meeting, but can we confirm that Poppy was too?

This crime faily is so huge and entrenched it will take a tremendous amount of work to unravel it all. One of the US' biggest mistakes was to allow the Bush Crime Family to get away with Iran-Contra.

...invested in Carlyle. The connection got a little too close, if you know what I mean. To resolve the connections, the bin Ladens' divested from Carlyle and Bush resigned.

BushCo is in as deep with the bin Ladens (is Osama included in that category?) as they are with the Saudi royals.

The dirt at BushCo goes so deep that as you dig up layer after layer, all you find is dirt. I think the question we should be asking is have they EVER done anything honest and straight-forward?
