Gas Prices - How will red state bush base members react?
- Urge him to give more tax cuts to the rich
- Buy larger gas guzzlers at it is the patriotic thing to do
- Support a war in Iran
- Blame Bill Clinton

What bush's base won't do

- look in the mirror and take responsibility for enabling our country to be in the position it is today. Take the opportunity to let conservatives know who is responsible for thousands of American dead soldiers, skyrocketing gas prices and endless federal debt - them!

1. They blame Kerry
I saw them during the campaign outside of gas stations holding signs saying that kerry was at fault for proposing a 10 cent gas tax back in the 90's

3. what about cheney's
proposal to tack on a 50 cent tax, indexed for inflation, that he submitted in the 80's while a rep from Wyoming? That doesn't count of course.

btw -- Kerry never proposed the tax -- all he did was look at it and then rejected the idea.

ACTUAL TALKING POINT: The money earned from the sale of gas will go to opening new oil fields and expanding the technology to extract it.
