When I was in Dubai last year I saw an interview last year with Mohammed Atta's father. He was gushing about his son's training in Afghanistan, what a good muslim he was and what a great hero and martyr he was for islam's cause, plus his respect for bin Laden and al Qaeda. He lamented that he wished that more muslim sons like his would creat 9/11s all over the western world. This guy had utter contempt for bush and the US. My belief is that there was a total failure in our intellignece systems thanks to bush but that 9/11 was planned and executed by bin Laden. bush and his cronies can't plan a vacation in Crawford, much less a 9/11.

Please tell me, what the national sting, that netted 10,000 "criminals" who were back on the streets within hours, was all about...you know, the one where all the police forces from the national level, to the local level were involved...a few months ago...was it an exercise to prove they could round up that many people of a selected group, all at once...was it an exercise to prove all agencies could work togther...what exactly was it?
