1. rove's campaigns work only on the far right, not the centrists with

no political allegiance.

Rove is up against his most formidable opponent: an ordinary citizen.

Their pitiful smear attempts last week fell with a clumsy thud.

He absolutely seems unable to weasel a campaign out of this.

If he gets too muddy with his nastiness against an ordinary citizen, other ordinary citizens will turn away in droves--or should I say, more of them than already are.

Not that the Republican radio and TV propagagandists would appreciate this basic fact. Most Americans, however, are smarter than that. They know that -- whether you agree with Cindy Sheehan or not -- she has every right in the world to confront George W. Bush and ask him to expalin to her the "noble cause" he says Cindy's son died for.
