Mike Gallagher, slimeball umlimited

Mike Gallagher had enough. Cindy Sheehan was down in Texas making dumbass look bad, so he decided to take his legion of nutballs down to Crawford to hold a rally for killing soldiers. They arrived Saturday morning, on the same road that Sheehan was on, and set up shop. Gallagher, megaphone in hand, began ranting about how Sheehan has denegrated all the fallen heroes in both Iraq and Afghanistan. The flag waving zealots generally made asses of themselves.
This morning, they left. Gallagher went back to his show to call Sheehan more names. Sheehan gets under Gallagher's skin simply because she has the truth on her side. Bush has killed nearly 1900 American soldiers, and doesn't give a rats ass about any of them. All Cindy wants is 30 minutes with Bush to have him explain what her son Casey died for.
Mike Gallagher has a warped sense of patriotism. In his world, Bush is doing God's work, and waging war on terrorists, and anyone who doesn't support his little war, are branded traitors and un-American, and that certainly includes Sheehan. Tonight, Gallagher was thrown softball questions by Sean Fagnity, and once more, made a jackass of himself.
Gallagher is a total slimeball. He says he's a patriot, yet he, or his family, which are all of draft age, haven't served one day in uniform. He talks a good game, yet he's a yellow coward for not serving himself. He's just one more example of the Republican chickenhawk crowd. He loves the smell of battle, yet let's others die for him.

...as did whoever does Top 10 Conservative Idiots here on DU, on my Assclowns of the Week yesterday. Words cannot desribe how much I loathe this wild-eyed doofus. In fact, I saved my best line for him.

But it's notable that, as with Joe Wilson, Val Plame, et. al. (i.e. <sarcasm> people who plainly aren't telling the truth and whoe positions are completely indefensible </sarcasm>) ), Sheehan is derided because they're just barely smart enough to know that she's a threat.

A big threat.
