6. Leiberman is the one progs need to focus on. Is he being challenged |
|
seriously? I know some names have come forward but are they serious contenders. I know we had hopes for star power against him but that never materialized.

3. Assuming they will definitely be replaced by Democrats? |
|
Lieberman would be a good start.
But only if you give me the assumption of a Democratic replacement. I don't care how DINO they are, we need every Democrat possible if we're going to go for a Senate majority.

10. Agreed. There is no excuse for Lieberman's selling out so much |
|
Considering the deep shade of blue Connecticutt is. All of our Democratic Senators from deep red states or even slightly red states we need to think politically pragmatically about before putting someone "further left" into the generals.

|
gave up on Roberts confirmation without obtaining White House papers they've stone-walled on.

11. Each and every one who refuses to call for withdrawal from Iraq |
|
and the worst offenders are the so-called "liberal" Senators ... i don't expect the most conservative Senators to support withdrawal but the "liberals" have left the majority of Democrats (and the majority of Americans) with no representation on the issue ...
I hope each and every one of them is replaced by a progressive Dem in the next election ... it's time for incumbent progressives in the House to start challenging these appeasers in the primaries ...
No more free rides ... no more unchallenged incumbents ... give the people a choice !!

14. a mistake. We need to concentrate resources on GOP, not dems |
|
A moderate, even a conservative Dem is 10x better than a neocon GOP senator.

Beat the Republicans, not ourselves. Feinstein and Lieberman are too strong to be taken down in primaries. No use in wasting valuable resources trying to beat Democrats when we should be trying to beat the GOP.
