Cindy mentioned she had death threats on Malloy tonight
I'm praying that she's well protected. She's a one woman movement that's growing and spreading like wildfire in a dry summer. The entire right wingnuts are spastic with anger and frustration and want her to go away and shut her soft spoken mouth. Cindy said they expect about two thousand people this weekend.

Our sorry assed excuse for a president is surrounded with scores of secret service agents protecting his sorry ass. Who's protecting Cindy? I remember Ghandi and don't want a hair on Cindy's courageous head threatened or hurt.

I've read the local police are also worried about her. Please someone tell her she must get some real protection.

3. She didn't go into any details
I was shocked to hear her mention it ... and with her soft spoken voice it sounded casual. Death threats are nothing to ignore -- not with strung out pissed off right wing nuts out there.

2. That would suck...when I was there...
Edited on Tue Aug-16-05 11:10 PM by SwimmerFilms
... there were some Vets that looked like they could hold their own against anyone, but there are a LOT of women there, some quite old, that could get hurt. That sh*t would start a civil war.

They are out in the middle of nowhere Crawford. If there isn't a cop right there, they would be defenseless... of course, hell hath no fury like a woman scorned...

I can't believe they ran over those crosses.

8. I loved your video. It was authentic. Honest. Thank you.
I can't believe that rat bastard ran over them, either.

In walks Humanity offering Cindy an acre. 160 acres across the road for the overflow. That's a good man.

Peace.:patriot:

4. Yeah, you gotta love family-values super Christians, always ready
to kill an innocent for horrible ungodly crime of disagreeing with them.

It's funny how Coulter, Limbaugh, etc. never get death threats. Or how pro-war marchers never get death threats from the "ungodly LIEberal left".

But yet, the "Super Christian America=God party" assholes are totally willen to threaten to kill, AND to kill, anyone who disagrees with their utterly unfaithful reading of Scripture and the Constitution and the ungodly collusion of the two documents.

5. Of course she did
It was inevitable. She has chosen a mythic pattern for this portion of her life. The mighty and their hired thugs will try to make her afraid. Failing that, they will try to destroy her. Once she, a free woman, chose her path, they, like automatons, found their path chosen for them.

7. I agree, who ever has threatened Cindy would be wise to not
follow through, the backlash will be more than thier small numbers could handle.

9. She's so open and friendly. It's a worry.
She could be too trusting with the wrong person. I'm worried too for her and for others there.

11. Hm.
Given the gun laws in Texas, some protection might be in order.

A 1:10 ratio of CCW holders : unarmed citizens would do well against any hick that gets it in his mind to pull a piece on them. Shotguns and rifles in cars would also enhance my peace of mind. Even an old 30-06 bolt action or double-barreled hunting shotgun. All legal of course.

Of course, they've thought of this and there are probably quite a few already carrying.

I hope nothing happens, but helps to be prepared.
