Bush & Cheney Indictments - is it a hoax ?
Seems too good to be real .....Is this true or a rumor ?

Patrick Fitzgeralds Chicago grand jury has voted perjury and obstructionof justice indictments to the following members of the Bush Administration: President George W. Bush, Vice-President Richard Cheney, Bush Chief of Staff Andrew Card, Cheney Chief of Staff I. Lewis"Scooter" Libby, Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez, former Attorney General John Ashcroft, imprisoned New York Times reporter Judith Miller and former Senior Cheney advisor Mary Matalin.

3. Link?
Nixon was an "unindicted co-conspirator." I can't imagine this jury would do it differently.

5. When that jury comes down, the media will explode.
It won't happen quietly or dubiously.

6. Yes, it's a hoax.
This already turned up last week and was debunked. BTW, Fitzgerald's grand jury is meeting in DC, not Chicago -- further verifying that it's a hoax.

10. Can a sitting President even be indicted?
I seem to remember this discussion about the Clenis. I don't think you can indict a sitting President; it would have to wait until he's out of office, or be referred to the House for impeachment.

11. A plea for common sense.
Guys, please - think about this for just a moment. If you were someone close to the Fitzgerald investigation, and you knew or had evidence that Bush or Cheney had been indicted, what would you do?

1) Go to respected foreign and domestic news outlets with your information, give anonymous interviews, etc.

2) Tell some random old kook with a web page nobody reads.

Hell, even with Drudge on those rare occasions when he breaks something true, he's usually stolen the information from a mainstream media outlet. Drudge is as big a liar as Flocco, but he has readership. Flocco is, again, some random old kook with a web page nobody reads.
