...working on some sort of system to completely manipulate polls over a year ago on an article somewhere, but I don't recall the details.

They were dead serious about getting a program up and running that would totally distort on-line polls.

Did they finally launch something that can do that?

are programs that allow you to vote over and over in a poll. They can set the desired number of votes that they want to cast then launch the program, and it will just keep voting away...
