4. Not too bad...
Corzine +92.5 and Lautenberg +72.5 for NJ. Not great, but not like my Rep. Rob Andrews -55. We will have to deal with him in the primaries hopefully.

13. Many Senators were attending DSM hearing and trying to ....
slip out to an unprescedented number of "floor votes" so some of your better people may have missed a few votes due to Partisan planning.

6. I don't understand
I am a little confused here. Congressman Jim McGovern has the same voting record as Dennis Kucinich but Cong Kucinich has a 100 point higher total. What am I missing on this?

9. Jim needs donations. Everyone go to his site and donate.
He's working hard for us and the Thugs are doing their best to make a grab for what funds he has.

10. Too bad some explanations are blatantly false

Sen roll call 196 excluded explicitely death penalty cases, which is the reason why anti-death penalty senators like Boxer or Harkin voted for it.

But the senate ranking makes some sense anyway.

11. I prefer my vote tallies somewhat unfiltered
or at the least, I like to see more than one.

www.vote-smart.org

Most of the votes, along with interest group percentage ratings so that you can see how various groups rate each elected official.

One of my favorites.

Patrick Henry puts in too much of their own interpretation. Everyone but Boxer got downgraded for Jan 6th, when only one person was needed and Kerry was asked by the Black Caucus to stay away. Their chart only tells half the story, only they part THEY deem important.

12. Nope. 196 says what the chart says it does. Checked it out.

This was the amendment "Chambliss Amdt. No. 1271; To prevent funds from being made available to provide assistance to a country which has refused to extradite certain individuals to the United States."
Most countries do not have the death penalty, and that is the main they don't want to extradite. Under the amendment, non-death penalty countries are required to send people here, a country where those same people may be put to death, in order to receive aid. The chart is based on Thomas and this is why it is so accurate.

As for Boxer, she is pro-death penalty. I have a letter from her expressing her support for the death penalty.
