Shock, then anger

Those of you who think that Cindy Sheehan should be satisfied with her meeting with George Bush immediately after her son was killed have obviously never lost a child tragically.

As a mother of a son who died in an accident, I can tell you that in the first days and weeks you are in shock, and will look for anything to ease the pain. It's later, when the shock wears off, that you get angry with the person who dared to look you in the eyes and lie about why your son died.

1. Good for her!

Cindy's meeting with The King happened only 2 months after Casey died. 2 MONTHS! Anyone who has lost a relative knows that 2 months is NOTHING ... At that point, you're still waking up every morning thinking they're still alive, and then having your heart sink, realizing that they're gone. Cindy shouldn't be "held accountable" for anything she may have said at that point, because the pain probably hadn't truly registered in her yet.
