The rightwing dickheads have Democrats playing defense; Ken Mehlman seems to be everywhere, bashing our party and Howard Dean in particular. The talkinghead then repeats whatever Mehlman said about Dean for the rest of the show!!

I'm definitely NOT saying this is Dean's fault, but I am saying: we've got a smart, outspoken fighter and we need him out there fighting. The DNC should hammer the media to get him on every show, with equal time, whenever Mehlman appears.

You'd think OUR party was in control of the mess we're in the way they attack, attack, attack Democrats. And yes, I'm going to write the DNC.

When will Nora ask Howard Dean to explain why Republican policy has failed? When will she ask a Democratic strategist to explain why their party is divided? When will she quote Sy Hersch on Republicans, instead of Bob Novak on Democrats?

Not only should they call out the Repubs when they characterize the Democrats as "weak on defense", no credibility on national defense, and the predictable charges, but they should be ready to cut the Repub down with a good comeback...
