Help with stats...
I am trying to put together some stats on jobs in the US over the past five years. I am having a hard time finding a single set of numbers for jobs lost, jobs created and how much lower the new jobs pay vs. the old jobs. I have it in my head that 3 million jobs have been lost, about half that created and the new jobs pay roughly $9000 less than the old jobs. But this is just stuff that I have read here and there and possibly screwed up. I tried a variety of phrases on Google, but I am having a hard time finding just what I need. My sister made some comments about 'the press' trying to make Bush look bad and how he has created more jobs than were lost. That don't sound right to me, but she picks everything to pieces that I try to tell her and I want to make sure I have my facts straight. If somebody could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it!!
