What a brilliant move by the Clark campaign
Take a wild guess about which story will lead the local morning newscasts.

7. His psychic powers, silly!
Didn't you receive your meme?

And yes, it's mahhhhvelously brilliant as this will be the lead bright and early in the morning before most people get to the polls, possibly swinging some late undecideds in our favor :)

10. it's easy to get people's votes when you're standing in the room
They become sort of star-struck.

14. Yeah, NH voters are REALLY easy to intimidate
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 12:47 AM by Rowdyboy
and they're not very sophisticated. They hardly ever see a presidential candidate.

18. Who said they were intimidated?
I mean, if I was going into the polls and I wasn't sure exactly who to vote for and standing in the room was one of the candidates and he shook my hand, hell, I'd probably vote for him. Unless he is Wes Clark that is. But Lieberman, sure, why not. Then in the off chance that he won, I could say "I've met the President".

11. 8 out of 13 is easy to spot
Easy to have advance warning. The man read The Art of War seven times; of course he knew he won tonight.

16. I remember he visited Dixville Notch
very early in his campaign. And then he mispronounced the name of the town and the media made their usual stink about it. I think he said Dix Notch or something. I guess the townfolk appreciated he had come to see them. :)

12. Yes, but it's generally good for an underdog.
Fires up people to believe and get out there to make it happen. That "air of success" doesn't have much time to get stale in the last 20 hours lol.

13. Nah. It'll kick off the landslide. Once the New Hampshire voters
see how upset the FAUX whores and Wolf Spritzer get they may vote for Clark just to tick them off.

Elections have been won for lesser reasons.

19. Applause for Clark
He at least deserves good tidings in NH after foregoing Iowa. There hasn't been much to celebrate in the Clark camp for awhile since he was dormant in the Iowa excitement. You guys deserve it.

21. and gutsy too!!
it could have backfired and the vote gone against him if they thought he was trying to manipulate them with his presence and he would have had to make an awkward 'concession' statement before anyone else even voted...that WOULD NOT have been a good headline!
