Coingate's Tom Noe's lawyer dropped today that the governor knew
about his client's investment scheme in 2001 .... not May 2005 which
taft said @ his press conference.

Noe will not not take the fall for everything ...... if he gets to trial
he will bring down everybody ..... besides he helped pay for the computers
in Blackwell's office that were tied into the central tabulators in every county.

Those tabulators had "backdoors" that allowed for the input of data.

? As the repug Titanic sinks do we send life boats? And will they play
that insipid C. Dion song?

3. As with the Titanic

The Repug ship is so far out to sea that it will be difficult to mount any kind of meaningful rescue. One hopes that they have sufficient lifeboats on board. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. Most regrettable is the fact that their route took them through such hazaradous and perilously cold waters. If only they had exhibited more caution, had slowed down, or had taken a less inclement route, this tragedy might not have occurred.

I fear that the metaphorical loss of life may be very grave.

4. Noe knows that Taft is on the smelly end of the popularity stick

if he sings on Taft, he'll temporarily be the darling of the Repukes . . . if he doesn't sing too long . . .

5. This all sounds to me like the Noe fiasco will blow up.....

Ohio's electoral shenannigans will finally blow up in public, and Thomas Noe will implicate himself, Blackwell and several others in the stolen election.

After conviction its doubtful anything else will be done. We will know the Ohio election was stolen, but due to lack of evidence on the part of the popular vote being fraudulent no further inquiries will be made.

Regardless of any of those outcomes, its time to watch the cases in Ohio unfold closely and monitor what may definitely be Blackwell's last hurrah.

Ohio fraud has come home to roost.....

The governor said Noe "made a great effort to conceal" that he managed the coin investments and the two did not discuss them on the golf course.

He said Noe, a coin dealer from suburban Toledo, did not disclose his investment on applications to the governor's office for appointments to boards and commissions.

Wilkinson told The (Toledo) Blade that Taft's statement that Noe tried to hide his role as investment manager was absurd, pointing out Noe went through a public process to become a bureau fund manager.

Wilkinson said Taft "either knew or didn't want to know."

Noe reported the investment on his annual financial-disclosure forms filed with the Ohio Ethics Commission, Wilkinson said

To jail with Tom Noe, Ken Blackwell, and all the election stealers. Zero tolerance for fraud is what all states should adopt, and enforce it with discipline.

8. This is so sad, Taft is a sham and a liar.

"There is not a pay-to-play system," Taft said in his first extensive comments since he became part of a widespread ethics investigation. "There is no connection between golf or (campaign) contributions and state contracts in our administration. Contracts are awarded based on merit, based on qualifications, based on experience and performance under our administration."

Right there the Governor lies through his teeth about the Ohio Noe scandal, and basically admits the election had been rigged.

If Taft "honestly" didn't know he wouldn't be appearing in court. The man knew everything going on, that Blackwell was hiding illegal money, electing officials via fraudulent votes, probably appointing his own "partisan" board of elections workers and taking trips on the side.

Ohio is the worst state filled with fraud I have ever seen lately, because of these policies. If the democrats, or let alone anyone had been full opposition to the republicans the last 8 years Ohio would be a fairly okay rough around the edges state. The very fact that Denny White and the democratic party there turned the other cheek every day, has led to one of the most corrupt governments ever seen and sadly contributed to the destruction of their electoral process.

I really wonder who will reform Ohio and give the people a voice.
