"Able Danger" Guy on C-Span. Appears Zelikow may well be protecting Bush!
Edited on Sun Aug-21-05 07:52 AM by flpoljunkie
Lt. Col. Anthony Shaffer, trained by CIA as senior intelligence officer, just noted that Able Danger was "stopped four months before 9/11.

Philip D. Zelikow was Executive Director of the 9/11 Commission. Condi Rice, Dick Cheney, and Paul Wolfowitz were all once members of his Aspen Strategy Group, a foreign policy think tank.

Shaffer began his time lobbying to continue the data mining, of course.

I hope Kristen Breitweiser is watching.

1. But now his main FILE is MISSING??? People WAKE UP.
I don't think Shaffer, brave as he is, has wrapped his arms around the enormity of 9/11. Jesus Christ - if someone would just pull one or 2 threads, look under a couple of rugs...

There is more than enough information out there to tie this story up and expose this CRIME OF THE CENTURY.

3. Dammit! I missed it. Is he appearing elsewhere on TV, today? Anybody know?
I didn't see his name listed on C-Span's Sunday morning show line-ups.

4. C-SPAN does not list it as being repeated today, but it should be archived
later for viewing.

6. Four months before 9/11?
That would be the time period when the Bush admin was meeting with the Taliban in Texas, about the great middle-east natural gas pipeline. The press has been strangely silent about those meetings, and about the possible roles of Cheney and Halliburton "on behalf of the US".

8. It's tough ...
I don't get a particularly bad read on this guy ... I think he is trying to push his agenda, and he does try to go back to the point that his main purpose is advocating to use Data mining to try to profile and prevent future attacks ...

But, he does seem to readily go the "clinton admin" slant when it goes that way ... The R/Cons are REALLY pushing this thing, trying to put some kind of stand against the nonstop leaks ... It won't work that way, but to me, it cuts both ways equally at best, and cuts at the current regime even more ...

If I get the timeline right, these guys were pushing this thing starting at three months left in Clinton's term, that leaves at least 6 months in Bushco's term ... AND, as many have noted, if it turns to the blame game, Bushco isn't going to look good ...

I take a VERY moderate view on 9-11 ... I think that the country just was not ready to go to the extremes necessary to avoid it, and while I hold Bushco responsible for every last piece of it's scumbag agenda, I don't hold them responsible for not being able to peer into the future and see 9-11 ...

It really had to happen ...

9. They didn't need to peer into the future...they planned it.
Just ask yourself one of the thousands of questions...why didn't NORAD respond until AFTER the mission was accomplished. NORAD is meticulous in its air defense...who ordered them to stay down?
