7. I go out in public and I have not heard of one person demanding..
this story. I think we have already heard it over and over and over and over.

9. he was filling in for Larry King and when he learned what the topic
was, he refused. He offered other ideas but they were declined.

Say Hi to Greta for me, and them punch her in the face.

8. A story that affects 0.00001% of the population directly
Right. The public isn't demanding it, the administration is. Anything irrelevant to keep the public from asking questions about the issues that effect all of us.

This is pure Pravda....

13. Exactly.
I'm sorry the girl's missing, and I really feel for her family -- but there are so many other people who are missing whose stories don't get national attention, and the hyping of this particular story by the media is clearly an attempt to fill up air time and manufacture news. (And of course it helps if it allows talking heads posing as journalists to spend time in Aruba.)

The FAUX News attack on Costas was inevitable, really. He was like the child pointing out the emperor has no clothes. Most people would agree with him, especially once it's pointed it, but the faux journalists, whether or not they're on FAUX news, don't dare.

16. Fox is just selling a product
The crap they put out is just a way to get a share of the market. Right now they feel the need to defend their product line. But once the "product" stops selling, they will move on to some thing else.
