3. How it might play out...
1.) Hitchens backs out at last minute, scheduling difficulties.

2.) Hitchens shows up half-sauced, gets his ass handed to him.

3.) Hitchens shows up half-sober, gets his ass handed to him.

4.) Words failing him, Hitchens resorts to physical violence, gets his ass handed to him.

--------------------------------

Of course, the "drink-sodden ex-Trotskyist popinjay" might actually give Galloway a workout, but I doubt it.

This is the beginning of the end of Hitchens.

4. Cowardice would be the better choice here.
We will have to dig up a tape to listen to.

7. I wish they would quit foisting the drunkard Hitchens onto us
Last time I saw him behind a podium he could barely speak.

11. "Waterloo" comes to mind.
Except this time both combatants are British.

Only one will walk away whole.

It's a "Rumble in the Concrete Jungle"

It's "Combattin' in Manhattan"

It's bound to be a slaughter. NY DUers are in for a treat.

8. There's a picture of Hitchens in the dictionary...
under the word "snob".

9. Hitchens better bring some "liquid confidence". He is going ...
... to get his ass handed to him.

10. "Drink soaked ex-Trotsyite popinjay"
I'm sure it takes a lot of solvents to unstick that from one's craw...

Sheer pomposity of Hitchens' caliber is hard to watch, even when being skewered.

12. Just think of it as 'bloodsport'.
This is an empire, after all.

I'm sure Galloway wouldn't mind being visualized as a lion.
