Are out of their minds. Case in point--Wolf creek Nuclear plant near Burlington Kansas. It's been around since the mid eighties,nearly bankrupted KG&E as original construction costs went to the stars in overages. At one point in time we had the highest electric rates in a FIVE state area--who knows we might still hold that distinction.

Cancer and high rates,what a deal....

Whats your point?,because they have cheap nuclear energy a State in the middle of the US should also have cheap rates?

7. You said nuclear power is not economical. I gave a counter example.
Of course to be fair France has a population that trusts its scientist. People in the U.S., on the other hand, want their scientist to prove that things were better 400 years ago.
