Lott on Meet the Press with David Gregory admitted that President Bush had Iraq in his cross-hairs long before the "last resort" comments were made.



He talked about the intelligence failures, but Trent made it very clear that Bush had targeted Iraq early on which had been said a long time ago by Richard Clarke.

6. Oh, it began, quietly, a while ago

Trent still does the heavy lifting, quietly, when flaky Frist poops out. He may not be Leader, but he has all the perks, all the trappings--the superbig office, the car and driver, he KEPT all that shit when he stepped down...including the EXTRA staff. He has eyes and ears at every friken keyhole, make no mistake.

Trent knew enough to lay low, maintain his lines of communication quietly, and bide his southern time. He IS like an elephant, he never forgets...and it would not surprise me if he is returning times ten the screwing over that he got at the hands of his so-called GOP pals. That Strom business COULD have blown over...if you recall, Trent actually went on BET and took his lumps like a man, as well as every other talking head show. He did the apology routine over and over. It wasn't "the people" who demanded his head, it was the Rovebots, who believed that Trent just had too damn much power and influence, and could not be easily reined in when he had a bug up his ass.

I don't think Trent's little conversation with David Gregory was a slip of the tongue at all. He's smiling, he's acting like a cheerleader (he once was one, like the chimp) and he is sticking in the knife and twisting it slowly....

Time to ask Trent to come speak with the Grand Jury.....

During the first debate Bush had with Gore, Bush made threatening overtures to Iraq, and I knew then that if he were to slither into the WH, we would be attacking Iraq.
