Idaho = no safe haven for liars
Now that the Downing Street Memo along with Rove/Plame/Treason-Gate has effectively been buried alive in media coverage and the public conscious, BushCo has announced that * will spend the next five days justifying the war and attempting to tie it directly to 9/11. This is pretty obviously a Rovian counter-offensive to the 'Cindy Effect'; one mother's simple quest for the truth behind her son's unnecessary death, to the detriment of the prez's ratings. Nearly 2/3 of Americans now believe this administration's course of action in Iraq is wrong.

This five day propaganda/mountain bike tour will apparently be followed up by The Mother of All Rumsfeld Brain-Farts: a Pentagon sponsored march on Sept. 11 to reinforce the Iraq-9/11 connection, against all evidence before, during, and since the invasion.

The Chimp will be arriving here in Boise tomorrow afternoon to kick off his mid-vacation "Lie and Distort" tour with a "terror speech" (billed as such) for Idaho military personnel. He will no doubt gain a few cheers. But the ghosts of Casey Sheehan and Idaho Iraq fatalities may be left wondering WHY?

3. Bush has no answer for the "why" question
Just more shopworn scare talk. And just in case Prince George of Kennebunkport might have forgotten, that guy Osama bin Laden? You know, the one held most responsible for 9-11? He's still at large, and still killing Americans.

5. No quarter. Zero tolerance. Never forgive. Never forget.
No one should rest until these war criminals are standing trial in the Hague.
