Question for someone who knows **facts** about VA funding .....

I have heard conflicting information about idiot son's funding for the VA. Some say he has, indeed and in fact, increased it. Others say he has increased it, but only after having first cut it ... with a net of no change. Yet others say he has cut it.

What are the facts?

1. There was recently additional funding

Because the VA was going to run out of money -- IIRC, the Sec'y of the VA originally told Congress the VA had plenty of $$, then had to go back with hat in hand.

What I've read and heard is to the effect that Bush has cut VA funding, at least in terms of inflation-adjusted dollars. The actual number may have gone up, but the purchasing power of those dollars is less than it should be.
