Okay lets imagine Iraq does turn into an islamic theocracy (and this is highly unlikely given facts on the ground). Whose fault would it really be?

Well it's clear that Islamic Iran is responsible for helping the terrorists in Iraq and forcing Iraq to become an islamic theocracy.

In other words, if Iran was secular this wouldn't be a problem. Any blame for an Iraqi theocracy lies squarely at the feet of Jimmy Carter for allowing an Islamic Iran to emerge. Also if Clinton had actually pursued Bin Laden this wouldn't have been a problem in the first place.

Just think the liberals should know this before they try to spin the situation (seems they have started).

So had THAT experiment been allowed to continue there is a very good chance Iran would be a thriving democracy today instead of a Theocracy. 13. George HW Bush hadn't been profiteering from Saudi Arabia at the

expense of our national energy/national security policy, we wouldn't be spilling American blood for dwindling oil supplies. If Bush/Reagan hadn't manipulated the 1980 election and gotten Iran to hold the hostages until after the election, Carter would have won and devoted a 2nd term to getting more resources to the Department of Energy (remember, that was a cabinet level position under Carter), developed alternative/renewable energy sources, and promoted conservation strategies.

Poppy Bush saw a great opportunity to keep us dependent on ME oil and make himself and his Houston cronies some really big bucks these past 30 years by keeping us dependent on ME oil. They gave us "Morning in America"....now we've got Bush the Dimmer presiding over "Evening in America".

But I can't expect anyone at Free Republic to figure this out. History only started 11/2000.
