I think he was smart to try and nail down Dixsville Notch. It's totally unimportant, but the headline in the morning will have the political equivalent of a product-placement commercial. If this were billiards, this non-sorta-coup would be interpreted more as a long double bank shot rather than the football equivalent of a hail mary pass.
