That's one of the main reasons that I'm not a DLC supporter. For example, what Harold Ford said about Saddam and bin Laden possibly "getting married"- it's totally uncalled for.

I don't care that he's in a red state. We need leadership in our party, and we don't need to be spreading lies and HELPING the fascist cause.

So, I'm sorry if I'm not into voting for the DLC capitulators and proxy propagandists. This needs to be stopped at some point, even if we take a hit by not buying into it. We have to think long-term at this point, instead of digging the hole deeper. When you go along with the lies you don't even get the benefit of being right when they're exposed.
