Cindy stopping Bush fm Iran-attack to boost Bush polls?
Edited on Tue Aug-23-05 11:24 AM by oscar111
now that the

"Cindy-effect" has made war unpopular,

is that going to prevent bush from attacking Iran, etc, to boost his sickly 36% poll?

Has bush lost a MAJOR option because of Cindy?

Any new war in the present national mood, will increase opposition to bush, not result in "rally around the flag/leader"

Right?

Is bush plummeting without a way to stop?

4. iran
unfortunately his polls don't matter.
He's "in" for another 3 1/2 years... get used to it.

And as far as Iran goes... it would have made a better target than Iraq in the first place! Maybe less oil for Haliburton, hehehehe... but there's some "real" badguys THERE!

In addition, there's no soldiers to go into Iran, they're ALL bogged down in Iraq. At most, BUSH will get his surrogates the Israeli's to bomb Iran's nuke power facilities.

2. I for one
really don't think it's only because he's ignoring Cindy. But yeah. I hope this means he can't get backing to start anymore shit that we can't afford.

3. He doesn't need backing
the resolution that was passed to allow him to attack Iraq, included language that allows him to proceed on any "terrorist" nation. He's got Carte Blanch already and it's obvious he doesn't give a shit about the American People....

5. the war dragging on and going badly
made the war unpopular, Cindy just gave America an oppurtunity to grieve and respect that lives that have been lost. And for the President to explain the noble cause besides just saying "it's a noble cause."

6. I agree
I don't think there is any way George can invade Iran. A lot of this is due to Cindy.

he'd love to if he could.

8. I don't believe Cindy has nothing to do with not attacking Iran...
I believe, she may helped little, however, it has much more to do with China... China is partner with Iran now.
