a humidity problem was declared.

Who counted the votes then? Who observed?

6. That's an unfolding story.

It was the BoE who did the recount. There were rumors that people were turned away but we couldn't confirm them. The mixed Rep-Dem BoE there has an interesting record. The BoE member who spoke to the press is also mentioned in some detail in the section on the 2004 recount -- not knowing what the ballots looked like for the recount. I was going to put part 1 of an ongoing story but we'll just have to get more facts and do a follow up. Believe me, we want the information.

If he runs statewide like he did in Ohio's 2nd WOW, he'll blow peoples minds. The only reason to be restrained state wide would be to take Southwestern Ohio. Well, he proved he can do that, so I say, watch this guy, he's a fighter (and he has a carry permit!).

thanks for posting this in here - it deserves tons of exposure. This is such an important issue. My biggest fear is that it will again be forgotten until it is too late, until 11pm on election nite 2006 and everyone will be surprised again. We need to fix our election system NOW before it is too late and our democracy has vanished completely.
