2. He doestn't think strategically, he thinks theologically

All these groups are bad and are existentially in league, along with the devil and gays. Whether they are strategically working together is a reality-based question and not his concern.

4. Trigger words for his followers

The words 'communists' and 'muslim fundamentalists' immediately trigger a defensive, condemnatory reaction from the followers of Robertson. They need not make sense in any sort of context.

5. His statement that the assassination would save money

disregarded the lose of Innocent lives in his fantasy war.
His god is the dollar, the yankee dollar.

6. When Robertson says "communist" ...

... he isn't talking about followers of a specific ideology. It's just a buzz word he uses to indicated "every other group I don't like but am too lazy to list individually right now."
