The ultra-right Maine Christian Civic League is trying (again) to repeal Maine's new anti-discrimination law passed just last March
which simply adds sexual orientation to its protected classes to prohibit discrimination in housing, education, accommodations, credit, and the workplace.

Every little bit of help counts. And please spread the word! This is a great opportunity to say NO to discrimination once and for all in MAINE and to send a message throughout the nation, but we need to work like hell. And we need all the support we can get.

If we win, we will finally join the rest of New England with such a law, and we'll deal a blow to this brand of right-wing extremism.

Hi. Sorry, didn't mean to over do it. Rookie mistake. This is the last. I was advised by the moderator to post here for a wider audience rather than going to each state board. On this issue the other side's making a federal case out of it so we're trying to get some broader exposure too. I'm seeing how this site works now.
