and came across real cool. They described both camps, told folks where to download what is the unofficial Camp Casey theme song (Crawfordorbust.com). They spoke of Cindy's return and described what a day is like. They meantioned the Huffington Post as if it were owned my Murdoch. They portrayed the whole thing as the accessible folksy, grass roots phenom that it really is. There was no tinge of derision. There was no counterpoint. The tide sure seems to be turning.

1. I was
not impressed when they closed with the statement saying that the "other camp" contains several mothers who have sons serving in Iraq!!

I believe Camp Casey also has mothers with sons currently serving in Iraq as well!

2. Or maybe CNN is turning.
Coupled with their production of "Dead Wrong", maybe they've decided to leave the reactionaries to Fox and provide news for the rest of us.

3. Nah. They're sitting on the fence waiting to see which way the
wind blows and when all Hell breaks loose they can say "we were with you guys all along". It's all about money.

5. You're not the first person to suggest this here.
An interesting thought.

run its course".

8. Baloney or not, they shared current, accurrate info on how to hook up
with the antiwar movment and they did it without knocking both the websites they mentioned. Tell me a mainstream media outlet that does/did this. No doubt in my mind, both these sites as well as many others got thousands of hits due to this coverage, which no doubt repeats a few times before the next news cycle.
