1. Larry Johnson Most Assuredly Has Come Through As A True Patriot!

I have watched him for some time now and am impressed as he has stated that he voted for Bush and considered himself a Republican. Seems he has changed his tune. I'm conflicted to some extent because the CIA was so instrumental in "dropping the ball" regarding 9/11, but perhaps that's more a problem of where TENANT was doing the bidding of the WH!

I read quite a few of the articles and this is the first I've seen this website. Thanks!

Staying the course and enduring further casualties while the insurgency grows stronger is an insane policy. If we persist on that front we will end up strengthening the hand of Islamic extremists and their role within the Iraqi insurgency.

Our choice is simple—either we invest in the military resources and personnel required to defeat the Sunni insurgents and allow the Shia and Kurds to consolidate power or we withdraw and let the Shia, Sunni, and Kurds find their own solution. We cannot ask our soldiers and Marines to give their lives and sacrifice their bodies for a new Islamic state. It is true that our withdrawal will create a major vacuum and damage our prestige. With bush saying, only yesterday, that U.S. troops will be in Iraq as long as he is President, more and more "American soldiers will continue to be killed and maimed for no good reason."
