I just heard this spoken by some woman on CNN she was on opposite Begala, I have heard this a number of times but am unable to find anything that supports this claim. Anyone have an idea where these results can be found or is it another baseless statement.

3. There's never been an official announcement of the results
Which tells me everything I need to know about the result. The troops voted for Kerry. If there had been an overwhelming majority - or even a SLIGHT majority (to be pumped up as a 'mandate') - for Junior, we would STILL be reading those results in the headlines.

The troops voted for John F. Kerry and John Edwards.

4. If the military did vote overwhelmingly for Bush then we would've heard
about it in 4" headlines for weeks.

The Navy guys I know all voted for Kerry, and said most of their base and their higher ups were, too.

5. If the military is so supportive, why have private contracted body guards
with top commanders? Afraid to let them out of corporate sight?

While I think it is normal for many in the military to cling to the hope that their CIC is a decent and bright chap, they are not stupid. When given reasonably accurate news, most will come to the same conclusion as the general population. Please keep in mind, many of the troops get only what Armed Forces Radio gives them. Armed Forces Radio gives them Limbaugh.

Must be painful to conclude that CIC stands for Chicken-hawk In Chief or Coward In Crawford. Hard to justify the sacrifices they are making because of orders from that AWOL drunk who flips off the American people and allows his henchmen to attack the mother of a fallen comrade in the war build on lies.

6. The results were overwhelmingly for Bush....
Yep, too bad we can't prove it since we never posted the totals and we of course burned the registrations after the *cough* recounts. But he won, really, he did, those guys, they just love the man.

then 5 to 1. A good friend has family on the ship.

Sadly Haliburton handled the vote for the military.
