I really like Clark, but sometimes when he says something like this it makes me cringe. I think he should learn to differentiate between folksy and outsider, and looking like a rank amateur. I hope he continues to grow at a much faster pace if he stays in this to the end, and wins the nomination. That said, I really hope Edwards wins the nomination.

let me remind you that Edwards is a slick trial lawyer.

And guess what, I don't like slick trial lawyers. Most
of America doesn't like slick trial lawyers. He is
great trying to come across as Mr. Folksy but bottom
line his campaign has been underwritten by other trial
lawyers.

As much as I want to like him, I don't trust him. You know
why? If he was a good lawyer, he would have been a public
defendant.

I can make up a list of far more cringe-worthy quotes from every candidate, including Clark. This campaign must have been a cringefest for you if this is a standout.
