Despite this column's great work in describing what NYTimes Judith Miller was up to, it still can't quite get the Nation to say the words Operation Mockingbird.

Until that day, we will continue to have fabricated media disguised as "journalism" and the secret government continues unabated.

During the research, information surfaced that Cheney and Miller had a telephone call the day Wilson's Op-Ed piece appeared in The New York Times. Subsequently, the next week, Miller started backing the Saddam was trying to acquire Yellow Cake through Niger theory. Cheney shortly thereafter appeared on Meet the Press, totally championing this assertion, and one of the sources he quoted was Miller's column in the Times. Coincidence?
