The article sums up nicely the mistakes this misadministration has made. Unfortunately, it only scratches the surface of reality.
Regarding MR. Mulshine's article "A trifecta of terrible prospects for the GOP", he makes all good points and shows an understanding of the problems the party, and this nation, face. The likelyhood is that this "Perfect Storm" of problems may do damage that take decades to overcome. My political awakening occured at the late age of 50 on March 19, 2003. It has been a painful and embarrassing education since that day.
Sadly, the points MR. Mulshine makes are only the tip of the iceberg. Hopefully he will continue to do more of this insightful type of writing to help us avoid inflicting more damage to this nation.
I also hope that your readers are encouraged by this piece as inspiration to read, research, and remember. What's at stake is too valuable to be entrusted to "30 second sound bytes" and poorly reseached "in depth reporting".

I know it's a bit tame, but I don't want to club people over the head, just help them wake up when the sunlight starts peeking through the window.
