Just Heard - Leavenworth, Ks is rationing Gas
They don't have enough.

So, will this storm mean $5.00 a gallon gas?

It is like the perfect excuse.

2. No - they just announced it hear at work. To go get gas
because stations were running out. 3 closed in Leavenworth so far.

But sometimes stations react in panic and then re-open when they find out everything is OK>

5. Yup.People are probably taking off early to fill up their tanks.
This will likely happen in many parts of the country.

Governor Jeb Bush is warning Florida could see shortages of gasoline in coming days as a result of Hurricane Katrina.

The hurricane roared through the nation's major gas refineries and shut down production of thousands of oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico.
