2. No way that is true. I wish it was... but NO WAY.
His wife on the E coast, and he on the W coast? I don't give a rats ass about the intricacies of their marriage - but the whole concept is flawed from the get go.

PS - I would LOVE for him to be our Governor!!!!!!

26. I would love seeing a Bill verses Bill race in New York..
Bill Weld against Bill Clinton, two former Governors with very different backgrounds. A southern Democrat against a Massachusetts Republican, how much better can it get?

8. This shit is ridiculous.
I don't care if it's Hillary in NY or Shit Romney in MA or Alan Keyes in IL whatever, this carpetbagging shit is stupid.

If you can't find a candidate that LIVES in the goddamn state, then too bad. It shouldn't be legal.

Especially California. If there isn't one qualified Democrat in that entire state to run for governor, then we might as well pull the plug on the whole country now.

23. I agree completely.
I'm sick of people living in a state for six months and then running for office there.

If Clinton wants to run for governor of California, he should move there around, oh, 1988.

12. Ummmmm.....He's Not A CA Resident
Unless he and Hil are getting a divorce, it would be difficult for him to live here, unless the two of them split up.

I'd say the chances of this one are slim and none. If he wants to take a Governor seat away from the repubs, he should run in New York. It would be a cake walk.

I don't think it's right for the Dems to just pick and choose all over the country -the Governor should be a Californian, and Clinton shouldn't attempt a bid. I love Clinton, he was a real decent President and WOULD be a great Governor, but I think I'll have to see the State ecnomy flush down the toilet a little more before I beg him to come along... =|

ALSOOOO..... Arnold won't even win the republican primaries in my eyes, and unless you're a movie star running for Governor as a conservative nowadays, you'll never have a chance.

17. What is it with carpetbagger politicians
and the states that elect them? Don't the Clintons belong in Arkansas? Just asking.

16. So... where does that leave Hillary?
Will she move her residence to CA, and therefore, be ineligible to be NY Senator? I thought Bill said she was definitely running. Or will they split up? If she didn't give him his walking papers after the Monica business, why now? And, apart from that, why would the Clintons move to another state, and again invite the "Carpetbagger" accusations from all sides?

This story makes not sense. It just doesn't. I can understand who California is yearning to out from under the weight of Ah-nuld, but this is really grasping at straws, imo.

18. Has anyone ever gone from Pres to Gov?
I would think for someone of Clintons intelligence it would be to anti climatic. He would be great as world President once the world is taken over by the industrial milatary complex ,oh wait a minute ,it already has been ! Clinton is smart enough I believe to stay in retirement, to him his biggest failure is he left enough ignorant people around that the follow up to his show, is bush , a giant step backwards ! Something is terribly wrong with my country ! Even if a third of the country supports this guy (bush) thats 1/3 to much !

25. California is bigger than most countries, economically
and, if he turns the state around fiscally, it will cement him in history as one of the greats when it comes to the economy.
