1. Here's a couple. This guy is somewhat elusive. . . .
"i respect four months under fire in Vietnam"

"america is under attack from almost every direction"

"american values are under attack from within"

We reserve our deepest respect and admiration for those who volunteer for service and give their lives to help keep our nation secure.

2. Yeah, I found those. But you're right, they ARE rather slippery...
I'm still looking for something real concrete where he's really pinned-down on it.

Thanks for the help!

3. Saturday's Herald: Mitt backs war, but his boys are safe at home

``No, I have not urged my own children to enlist. I don't know the status of my childrens' potentially enlisting in the Guard and Reserve,`` Romney said, his voice tinged with anger.

4. I will post more as I find it...
"The enemy is emboldened by anything other than the strength of America."

''I think we as a nation look with dismay at the ongoing insurgency in Iraq and hope for a speedy conclusion," Romney said. ''But there is not a viable option of walking away as we did in Vietnam, with scenes of helicopters leaving from the roof of the embassy."

''The setting we're in," Romney continued, ''is one where we face not a local enemy, but an enemy to civilization, and therefore, our response must be global and must be sustained and committed."
