And the taxes on repatriated offshore profits at a huge discount that accounted for the drop in the deficit won't really affect everyone that they laid off so they could increase their profits and their payback to their wealthy investors.

Using the "strict father" model, the lower and middle class people are "bad" children who need to be more self-reliant and take care of themselves; the government should not have to waste its money on them.
