Today I felt like crying.

To think that my freeper boss thought that if we elected Kerry, we'd end up a Third World country. I'd ask him what he thought about that sentiment now, but something tells me, being a Republican, he'll never notice or at least never admit what's happened to the country as long as a Republican is in charge.

Welcome to the land of a thousand excuses ... for why it's not Bush's fault that is.

So many things going wrong at once. Sometimes it does feel like God's wrath upon a fake Christian's hypocrisy. I don't really believe that, exactly, but still it kinda feels like that right now.

I just found my reaction somewhat interesting, that I wanted to cry. That was a new one. Normally only only feel like crying when I look at Kerry and realize that my stupid countrymen couldn't tell a good man from a bad one.

Living in Freeperville, unless I want to be in a state of constant tears, I'll have to get over that feeling somehow. Too many Bush stickers abound.

And considering how many of us consider this man to be the worst president ever, it's just damned amazing how loyal the freepers appear to be, how rabidly loyal. Are we so divided as a country that where we see an imbecile they see a hero? Blows my mind. Nothing seems to shake these people. Nothing. How fucking bad does it have to get before they wake the fuck up!!??

2. It's way past the

time of being a nice guy. Peaceful protests are fine but when you're fighting freepers you have to play the way they do. Ruthless, no apologies. Unless we develop some spine and fight back in kind they WILL ruin this country beyond repair.

I live in freeperville, too, but the mood has changed. Everyone I talk to is negative about the man. They are NOT happy. They don't shout as loud as we do but I sense it. Except for this--

The other day in the gas station the attendent started bad-mouthing him at the top of her lungs and then another man in line with a very rough voice joined her. I got out of there quick because I thought they were going to start a riot inside! She kept saying "George Bush" this and "George Bush" that, and I thought to myself that if things keep up, there's definitely going to be a revolution with this anger I'm sensing.

WTF can these people be thinking to support him. He is so evil. His administration is evil. Today I was thinking about a questionnaire for them, with questions like...

"how much time each day or week do you spend informing yourself about politics and politicians? What sources do you consult? What methods do you use to inform yourself?" I'd really like to ask, "how the hell can you (still) support him?"

I have anti-Bush stickers on my vehicle in a red area too. I actually get positive feedback from people about them even here in Texas. Of course, there's the ignorant white males and females who give negative feedback at times too. But the positive ones are more numerous. I hate still seeing those stickers! I want one of those "Worst Ever" stickers now that look just like the "W" stickers.

It's bad. Things are bad. How bad does it have to get...good question. Here's the thing, I think that they are delusional. You know like he is. Sometimes I think there is also denial involved. I think people who support him are like, "he's not evil because I don't think he's evil and therefore he's not." Illogical, but it fits. They don't want to see him as evil so he's not. I don't know if that helps. Hang in there.

10. Today I had a great Laugh>>

While I was stopped at a stop light, where there was a beat up looking, older Datsun B210 with a BUSH/Cheney 04 sticker on the bumper.

It just so happened we pulled into the local Quick Stop where I was going to get gas and lo and behold the guy in his 30s who was driving the Datsun, works at this Quick Stop. Now i have no qualms, with any man making a honest living. However working where he works, you know he is making minimum wage, has no health plan, and no retirement plan.

Now for a GUY in this situation to support BUSH just makes me LAUGH.

Knowing the NEO-CONS are not going to help him in any way. They won't raise the minimum wage, and they are doing all they can to sink social security.

So you are right by saying " Nothing seems to shake these people " is 100% correct. I'm with you.

11. We are more feeling and caring than they are

which is why my partner says if it ever comes to some kind of civil war (witness the freakish "justice sunday" cultlike meetings and it doesn't seem so far off) they will win - because we have empathy and they don't.

I have been nurturing my unsympathetic side, almost because of this - ever since the recent election night - but I still have that empathy inside of me and know what you mean. I can't help but feel sorry for them at times - or try to understand how they got so fucked up - they will never show such an openness or willingness to understand because their whole belief system is based on telling others they are wrong. So in that way I think they have a strength. They will never cry over you or me; they don't have the heart. :(
