What benefits will the Katrina refugees have?
I've wondered this immensely. The casino workers on the Gulf Coast are out of work, there is no longer any business carried on in New Orleans. I heard casino workers pray the casinos wouldn't be damaged. The Gulf is dead, nada.

Will these people be ordered to apply for other training? Will they have demands for job interviews and seeking to retain their benefits. Will they and their families get health coverage? Will they have demands made on them to work a certain number of hours each week to get benefits? Which state is responsible for the benefits when those in NO were relocated to Texas? For those disabled, will their benefits continue?

Will we treat our own with the same kindness we treat those coming from other countries? Will W recognize them as refugees or a drain on society?

3. Whole lotta good questions you raise here ......
but I think the immediate concern is of course to save lives. Not sure anyone has really thought the rest of this out, this is a new kinda thing for America. At first I thought your post said ... "Who benefits from this Disaster" ...... hmmmm gotta watch that one too, Halliburton comes to mind, more no bid government rebuilding contracts in the works? Peace.
