I believe the looters will dominate the news as to the progress going on in New Orleans and elsewhere. BUSH: the looters are slowing down the rescue process...!

1. yes of course they will.
It's all about entertainment in the end. If people don't like to hear about it, they'll stop tuning in. That's why they're already devoting rediculous amounts of time to celebrity family members who were in the area. Like, who really gives a shit if Aaron Neville's nieces are missing, as opposed to thousands of others. Does being remotely related to a celebrity mean you get a special search party? E! television is the only channel that doesn't pretend it's not an entertainment news network.

2. Well if the truth were to be told and it is not favorable to Bush or the
repukes and conservatives in power then the news will be spun in such a way to not put the blame were it lays.

Basically NO is what the whole country can look forward to if the conservatives stay in power long enough. The inevitable end of a conservative philosophy is no government help, everyone for themselves and denial that anything is wrong. Just go to freeperville if you don't believe me.

3. Bushco does not want people hearing horror stories about
those stranded in NO -- hence, the change in focus to the looters & the 'recovery.' Unfortunately, the looters & violence has played right into Rove's hands. They are already putting their spin on it.
