So is this the new model? Aide for US disasters provided by private
donations? Its striking that we can spend billions a month in Iraq, yet Bush has to beg private citizens to pay for disasters occuring right here on our own soil. I don't mind giving at all and I will do all I can to help. But it is the principle of what * is doing that disturbs me. All of our tax dollars are funding the war it seems.

1. The treasury has been raided
They've taken it all to line their pockets.
Charity is the solution du jour.
Faith-based if possible so more can be skimmed.

We need our National Guard and Reserves home now.

the rw does not believe the govt has a place in any of this...other than setting up telethons.

no education
no social security
no medicare
no medicaid
no (rational) energy policy
no business oversight

but, ALL WAR ALL THE TIME.
