Thanks to poor leadership and Bipartisanship, Bush blew it again!!!!!
What we see right now in New Orleans is the result of fear in the wake of the 9/11 disaster. Fear used to push tax cuts that left first resoneders and relief programs floundering in the wind.

Since Bush took office he has cut forty percent of funding for the levee in Louissiana. The hurrican may not be his fault but the fallout afterwards lands on his shoulders. His tax cuts are very much responsible for cuts to these programs.

Like 9/11, he received plenty of warning from FEMA and leading scientists in this country!!! He ignored them. The beginning of fiscal year 2004 led to more cuts to these programs. Despite the fact that Florida was pounded by multple storms in the summer of 2004.

What kind of president would totally ignore a crisis like this on his doorstep? Presidents are judged by how they deal with the major issues on their watch.

Reagan had AIDS and ignored it.

Hoover had a depression and ignored it.

Bush has terrorism and massive storms. Two devastating issues issues that have led to massive loss of lives. His poor leadership has only added to the problem. Watching the news, it seems the victims in New Orleans have their eye on the problem as well. Where are the food drops we saw in Iraq and Afghanistan being extended to these people?

Bush got bipartisan support in the wake of 9/11. THat lead to massive tax cuts stamped by memebers of congress. These foolish and irresponsible tax cuts are now responsible for drownings and malnuroushment in New Orleans. Not to mention exposure to E-Coli bacteria resulting to exposure to raw sewage.

Bush gets no Bi partisan support from here on in. Inept leadership and greed with 9/11 used a whip is responsible for this mess.

Impeach the prick and get it over with!!!!!

1. This has shown how ill prepared
the USA is to deal with either terrorists or mother nature mainly because of the Iraq war draining money and manpower. Rummy likes to say we're prepared to deal with a second front, well here it the fuck is Don.

4. According to Richard Clark
Clinton allowed the NSC to run drills in case of such a disaster.

Rice and Bush dismantled the program.

5. No, no: this is an experiment to see how citizens will react:
Think bigger than bashing the incompetency of FEMA. There's sly purposfulness here and I believe that someone on Citizens for Legitimate Government may have stumbled on it:

"It was suggested to me by someone that it seems like the lack of assistance in New Orleans was meant to provoke people to extreme violence and chaos. It certainly looks that way to me... but what if new orleans is being used as a test case to see, in a real world setting, how easily a motivated, angry populace (and the military personnel forced to do the dirty work) could be subdued and controlled to create a working model of how to impose endless Martial Law throughout the country while keeping those who might resist under the lid... and those in the armed forces in line. It's a thought... because I find it absolutely incredible how inept the response has been... to the point of criminality on the part of the federal government." --c., CLG reader.

Redact to Stanley Milgram's experiments (no longer possible given ethical violations).

Its Stanley Milgram's experiments in vivo: how much torture will someone accept as given to another? Its Kitty Genovese: I didn't hear nothin'. Its PsyOps.
