Clinton looked ABSOLUTELY LIVID
President Clinton (WHO SHOULD TAKE OVER WITH AL GORE) look THOROUGHLY LIVID at the press conference. I was sad when he took Dumb Dumb's side but know that he has to for political reasons AND DOESN'T REALLY MEAN IT. It's just to keep the peace right now.

I wish President Clinton was in office.

1. Yeah right. He laughed when he left the press conference AND interrupted
Bush Sr. to defend the handling of this debacle.

4. He also said there was no way Bush could have known about this.
That is a lie. Bush did know, he cut funding and thus made it worse. I don't like our Democrats cozying up to them so much.

14. That's so sad. I think Clinton is out of touch. He's been hanging
around those Bushes for too long.

20. Can that be interpreted as a subtle jab at Shrub?
He couldn't have known about this...because he cannot handle this.

31. No. Not even close.
Time to come out of your fantasy. Clinton is a lot of things, but some of them aren't that attractive, and some of them DON'T benefit us.

29. Face it - Bill Clinton has slipped over to the "dark side" /eom
Unlimited power and money can do that to some of the most seemingly upstanding people. But it is clear today that he has unilaterally sold out to "Corporate America."

2. I mourn to have him
God, how good would it be to have him comfort us again! I remember Oklahoma City and how his words and style were so comforting for the community and the sufferers.

It is now insufferable. This president has disgraced us in the world community and left us bereft of leadership and hope in the face of horrible tragedy.

5. I flipped to the channel
as it was showing the three of them, Bill, Bush Jr, & Bush. My Gawd! Bill, Bill stop with the look!

However, I cannot FOR THE LIFE of me figure out how he & Bush Sr have hit it off.

Must be the powerbroker thing.

11. Bush Sr. is the father he never had
Clinton is the son Bush Sr. wishes he would've had. Someone on here analyzed it some months ago.

26. Interesting.
I've been puzzled by what looks like a genuine bond between them.
I seem to recall Papa Bush with some pretty harsh rhetoric for Clinton during Blowjobgate.

6. Political reasons?
At this point, I have to wonder if he's "taking Bush's side" out of fear of having a "Wellstone" accident if he doesn't.

Yeah, I know ... tinfoil hat ... but I really can't help it anymore with this crew of slimy snakes.

7. Yeah but during a CNN interview...
He turned on his political neutral mode, which I thought was a bit too nice of him. Perhaps if Bush 41 wasn't sitting next to him he would have been a bit more honest.

And there is no point in "keeping the peace" while Bush lets Americand die.

10. I think Clinton is genuine about forgiving people, but there is no need
for him to appear with them. I don't get it. I don't like it. I must not have a forgiving gene. The Bushes and their regime are trying to destroy the country - Clinton should stay home.

I just don't get it.

While there's obviously no question that it'd be better if he were driving here, I think I've about had enough of him in his emeritus role.

Why did I defend this bastard year-after-year when Republicans blamed him for everything under the sun?

Does Clinton really think Bush and other Republicans wouldn't be blaming him if it happened during his administration? :puke:

Justice will decend on all those that defer to and defend these criminals - no matter which party they id themselves by.

That guy makes me sick with each passing moment.
