Scary thought, I wonder if Bin Laden is watching the mess in New Orleans
(I posted this on another board and dircted it toward Republicans. I get geve me heart palpatation just thinking about it. We have been wide open and are worse prepared than we were on 9/11. Our enemies know this now!!!)

Republicans defenders of America be damned. Your support of Bush through this mess in New Orleans is now seen through the eyes of the enemy you let slip by.

This is what happens when you cut funding to first responders and FEMA!!! I'll bet you dollars to donuts that the enemies of this country are watching this and are encouraged by it. THe longer you go allowing Bush of the hook for his inept leadership and bad judgement, the more psychopaths like Bin Laden are encouraged to whack us.

If we get hit in the coming months we are clearly fucked. THe skeleton crew that is FEMA right now will not be able to respond to another terrorist attack in the coming months. Not do we have troops to spare as they are royally overstretched in Iraq, Afghanistan and now Louissiana.

This is one of the moments where I think about FDR's reaction to Pearl Harbor. He was able tro asess the situation well enough to realize that the West cast was open to invading for any country who really wanted it. THey would have made clean to Chicago with very littel resistance.

Now I ask you conservatives; What kind of message are you sending to Bin Laden and Al Queda by acting absolute in your support for failure. It's no coincidence that these people have been without food and clean water for over 100 hours.

For you Republican mathletes out there that's over four days!!!!

You have been warned for years about a disaster such as this. America is wide open and exposed right now. You have only yourselves to blame.

Afterall, you chose tax cuts over security.

YOu chose Iraq over Bin Laden.

I wonder what more you need to change course?

1. The same thing occured to me
Now would be the perfect time for them to act if they were thinking of doing something.
God only knows what would happen to the US then - total melt-down of a whole society.

2. It's rather telling isnt it?
FDR at least had the gutz to identify a real problem and solve it. This mess in NO clearly shows that we are worse off than we were on 9/11.

This country is wide open for a hit and has been for a long time. I wonder if the Freepers will get the message. No excuse for people going 100 days w/o food and clean water.

4. In terms of non-violent espionage/undermining of this country
Bush and his cronies have done a more effective job than bin Laden could ever have dreamed possible. The terrorists don't need to launch another strike on the U.S. when they've got Bush, DeLay, Hastert and Co. doing all the little things for them.

6. I wonder if Bush will balme Koffi Annan for cutting......
funds to first reponders. Interesting that the right wing pundits on MSNBCC are displaying disgust toward this administration.
