What we're seeing in New Orleans is the culmination of Republican social programs. We need to expose the total and complete respect for human life on the right. Their cries of being 'pro-life' are nothing more than base hypocrisy. We need to glue this horror on their foreheads so no one will EVER forget that THIS is what Republican policies have led to.

There was a Congressman on MSNBC who summed it up in a few words. To paraphrase, he said that in this disaster, Bush called up Clinton and Poppy Bush to go out and raise funds to handle this crisis. He said the government doesn't go out with a tin cup and beg to fund the military.

That's exactly how I feel. I feel as if the PEOPLE of the US have become the absolute LAST priority of our government. If anything, our government has actively acted against us.

This disaster should be pinned firmly to Republican foreheads and we shouldn't let anyone ever forget it.
